Hi, I’m Paolo. Growing up in the small town of Ogliastra, located on the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia, with 3 older brothers all being Chefs, a career in the catering industry seemed to be inevitable for me. At the tender age of 16, I decided to relocate to London in search of some much needed experience in order to thrive in my career. After learning the basics in a small restaurant in Hampstead, I then decided to go and further my culinary skills by moving into the French and Oriental cuisines. I cherish the skills and techniques gained from these experiences and look to incorporate them in all of my dishes to date. At the age of 22 I became head chef at one of the top Italian restaurants in Knightsbridge, for just over 4 years. Since then, I’ve worked for several restaurants in Chelsea, Green park and St Paul’s, cooking for the likes of Naomi Campbell, Roberto Di Matteo and George Graham. The highlight of my career, so far, came in 2012 when i was voted ‘The Foscars- Best Chef’ by YJ Punkurst, former editor of The MasterChef magazine. Given my passion and love of food, it’s now a pleasure to be apart of the Fantozzi family; and we are confident our customers will continue to enjoy the ‘Fantozzi’ experience.
Hello, I’m Patrizio. I was born in Naples where, learning from the old school masters of Pizza, I began my profession as a pizza chef more than 28 years ago. After many years, I left my beautiful city to learn how to improve my product to the taste of people from a variety of places. This is why I have worked all over Italy; from North to South. When I was in Rome I enjoyed the atmosphere of a cosmopolitan city so much that I decided to go even further, I moved to London. Worried whether I would miss my warm and sunny Italy, I found Fantozzi, eliminating any skepticism immediately. Fantozzi is a little bit of Italy found abroad! Everything from the food to the warmth of the people working here is authentic Italian, hence the reason why I am so happy to be a part of the Fantozzi family. I’ll be waiting for you then; to let you enjoy a piece if Italy too. However you might like your Pizza, crisp or soft, just ask! My favorite pizza is tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil and a dash of extra virgin olive oil. What’s yours?
